Deck overview

This Jund (-1/-1) counters deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch turns the -1/-1 counter mechanic into a value engine. The commander rewards placing counters on your own creatures with card draw and punishes opponents who put them on theirs with life loss. The deck spreads -1/-1 counters through creatures like Soul Snuffers, Skinrender, and Archfiend of Ifnir, amplifies them via Blowfly Infestation and proliferate (Evolution Sage, Contagion Clasp), and leverages token generation (Flourishing Defenses, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons) to build a board. The primary win condition is combat damage from deathtouch snakes and big threats like Grave Titan. Secondary wins come from incremental drain effects (Lasting Tarfire, Grave Venerations) and occasional theft via Necroskitter or The Reaper, King No More. The deck is a grindy, attrition-based strategy that aims to out-value opponents over many turns.
