Smaug B4 im"pene"trable by Alexhimawari

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Smaug the Impenetrable as an indestructible damage-to-treasure engine. You deal noncombat damage to Smaug with Pestilence, Pyrohemia, or ping spells to create Treasures, then loop those Treasures through sacrifice pingers like Mayhem Devil and Havoc Jester for infinite damage. Pariah's Shield and Arcbond create a second loop that redirects all damage back to Smaug. Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought with Fiendlash and Pain for All offers a separate 100-damage kill, while Revel in Riches and large Crackle with Power or Exsanguinate provide backup wins. Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, and Academy Manufactor amplify Treasure value to pay for the 7-mana commander.
