Deck overview

This deck leverages the partner pairing of Tana, the Bloodsower and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to execute a Temur token-and-clone midrange strategy. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through low-cost dorks and signets, leading into a turn 3 Tana. On turn 4, Sakashima enters as a non-legendary copy of Tana or another high-value creature, bypassing the legend rule and doubling token production upon combat damage. The 99 is packed with multiplicative token amplifiers such as Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Doubling Season, and Esix, Fractal Bloom, as well as versatile clone spells like Phyrexian Metamorph and Auton Soldier. Massive threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Avenger of Zendikar, and Tendershoot Dryad generate crushing board presence, which is rapidly converted into lethal damage via Craterhoof Behemoth, Ouroboroid, or Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer. Efficient interaction and free protection spells defend the board while navigating toward a decisive combat finish.
