Deck overview

This deck executes a Sultai Voltron and reanimator strategy centered on Indominus Rex, Alpha. The primary plan accelerates into an early commander cast on Turn 4 by using efficient 1-2 CMC ramp. As Indominus enters, the pilot discards multi-keyword creatures from hand, giving the commander a suite of keyword counters such as hexproof, indestructible, haste, trample, and lifelink. This simultaneously draws 4 to 7 cards to replenish the hand with combat enhancers, interaction, and protection. Once assembled, Indominus threatens commander-damage eliminations backed by power multipliers like Blackblade Reforged and Luxior, Giada's Gift. Discarded creatures turn the graveyard into a second hand, enabling mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Bringer of the Last Gift to overwhelm the table if combat is stalled. Built-in hexproof and indestructible protect the commander from conventional removal, while phase-out effects and counterspells guard against mass exile effects.
