Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Pirate tribal strategy commanded by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable. The primary game plan curves out early Pirate creatures and mana rocks to deploy Admiral Brass on Turn 4 or 5. Upon entering, Brass mills four cards and immediately reanimates a Pirate as a 4/4 with haste at the beginning of combat. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by stacking powerful combat multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Angrath's Marauders, and Dire Fleet Neckbreaker, or by stealing opposing blockers with Coercive Recruiter and Captivating Crew. Consistent card flow from combat damage triggers (Bident of Thassa, The Indomitable, and Breeches, Brazen Plunderer) keeps resources stocked. While vulnerable to graveyard hate, board wipes, and a lack of counterspells, the deck applies persistent combat pressure to eliminate opponents over two turn cycles.
