Deck overview

This Orzhov Aristocrats deck is led by Teysa Karlov, focusing on generating flying Spirit and Inkling creature tokens, modifying creatures with +1/+1 counters, and capitalizing on doubled death triggers. The primary strategy involves establishing early fodder and token generators such as Field of Souls, Felisa, Fang of Silverquill, and Afterlife creatures, then deploying Teysa to amplify token generation and life drain. As death triggers trigger twice, the deck rapidly accumulates an evasive air force endowed with vigilance and lifelink while draining opposing life totals via Blood Artist. While the deck features strong resilience against destruction through cards like Selfless Spirit and Faith's Reward, it relies primarily on combat damage and incremental attrition rather than fast infinite combos. The list operates at a standard mid-power pace, utilizing solid removal like Mortify and asymmetric recursion via Liesa, Forgotten Archangel to outlast opponents in grindy multiplayer games.
