Deck overview

This Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck operates as a five-color Dragon toolbox and combat combo strategy. It focuses on developing a stable five-color mana base across the opening turns using efficient two-mana artifacts and land ramp. Once mana is established, the deck leverages its commander as an uncounterable tutor engine to copy specialized Dragons directly from the library. The primary win condition pairs Scion copying Savage Ventmaw with Aggravated Assault to produce infinite combat phases and close the game in a single turn. Backup strategies include single-target commander damage one-shots via Moltensteel Dragon and Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, mass reanimation through Living Death, and Worldgorger Dragon loops. While the deck possesses explosive finishing capability and redundant win lines, it is constrained by a lack of instant-speed interaction and countermagic, relying on sorcery-speed sweepers and on-board equipment to navigate opposing disruption.
