Ticking Time Bombs by Jacobycoleman

Format: Commander

Commander: Alaundo the Seer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Simic deck uses Alaundo the Seer to draw cards and suspend big creatures for free. You tap Alaundo each turn, exile a card with time counters equal to its mana value, and tick down other exiled cards until you cast them with haste. The main win is combat with large threats like The Tarrasque, Koma, World-Eater, Gigantosaurus and Kalonian Hydra, boosted by Gaea's Anthem, Hardened Scales and Master Chef. Secondary paths use Volo, Guide to Monsters to copy diverse creatures and Vorel of the Hull Clade plus Inexorable Tide to grow counters. Alaundo is your card engine, not a combo piece, and Volo acts as a hidden commander for value.
