Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign -- The Mother of All Riddles by user9195983

Format: Commander

Commander: Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign is a draw-go Esper control deck built around her attack trigger: every odd-CMC spell is a potential free cast, and the deck's many top-of-library effects make that reveal reliable. The primary plan is to cast Approach of the Second Sun from hand twice, using tutors and top manipulation to set and re-find it. The secondary plan cheats out heavy odd-cost threats such as Emrakul, Void Winnower, Nezahal, and Jin-Gitaxias to take over the board. Aminatou, the Fateshifter helps selection and rebuilds permanents, while most of the interaction is instant-speed to keep mana open. The commander accelerates the plan but is not strictly required; slow tapped lands and a single win condition set a patient, interactive pace.
