Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Teysa Karlov, designed to generate overwhelming card advantage and life drain by sacrificing recurring creature fodder. While Teysa doubles all death triggers from payoffs like Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Grim Haruspex, the deck's ultimate goal is assembling deterministic infinite loops. Primary win conditions involve pairing Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler with a drain piece, or combining Thran Vigil and Putrid Goblin with Altar of Dementia to mill the table. A robust suite of graveyard tutors such as Buried Alive and versatile reanimation spells ensures high consistency and swift recovery against removal. The deck also deploys oppressive board control through Dictate of Erebos, keeping creature-based opponents perpetually cleared while paving the way for a decisive Turn 6 combo finish.
