Deck overview

This Chatterfang, Squirrel General deck operates as a high-synergy Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy. The game plan centers on accelerating Chatterfang onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3, then leveraging its passive token-multiplying ability to transform every token generator into an expanding army of 1/1 Squirrel tokens. Once a wide board is established by Turn 4, the deck pivots into game-ending pressure around Turn 5 using mass combat overruns like Beastmaster Ascension and Overrun, or asymmetric life-drain engines such as Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, and Nadier's Nightblade. In addition to swarm lethality, Chatterfang provides on-demand board control by turning Squirrel fodder into instant-speed creature removal. While the deck lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, its immense functional redundancy, resilient recovery lines, and compact backup combos like Ivy Lane Denizen with Scurry Oak ensure explosive, consistent multiplayer execution.
