Deck overview

This Izzet deck is a synergistic coin-flip Voltron and combo strategy commanded by the partner duo Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom and Okaun, Eye of Chaos. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost mana acceleration on early turns to tutor and cast Krark's Thumb. With the Thumb skewing all flip probabilities to 75%, Okaun reliably triggers at combat to double its power three or more times in a single turn, swelling to 24+ power. Equipped with evasion or amplified by Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Chandra's Ignition, Okaun rapidly eliminates the table in massive bursts of lethal damage. Simultaneously, Zndrsplt converts every won flip into massive card draw, keeping the pilot's hand full of protection countermagic and burn spells. As a compact backup win condition, Frenetic Efreet activates arbitrarily at zero mana cost to instantly power up Chance Encounter or draw the entire library.
