Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Aristocrats build commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost recursive creatures, sacrifice outlets, and death-trigger drain engines to out-value opponents. Sephiroth acts as a card draw engine on attack and a repeatable life-drain trigger on every creature death. Once four creatures die in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, generating an emblem that permanently drains opponents whenever any creature dies. The deck's primary win condition is an instant-speed infinite drain loop combining Warren Soultrader, Forsaken Miner, and Sephiroth (or redundant drain permanents like Blood Artist). Backed by powerful black tutors, reanimation spells, and mana doublers such as Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, the deck transitions smoothly from board attrition into decisive combo finishes.
