Apothecary White by user8190079

Format: Commander

Commander: Apothecary White

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white token deck is helmed by Apothecary White, a commander who generates a Food token for each player you attack and can convert tapped Foods into 1/1 white Human tokens. The deck's primary plan is to go wide with creatures, leveraging token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, and Exalted Sunborn to create overwhelming numbers. Life gain from Food tokens and other sources feeds synergies with Archangel of Thune, Cathars' Crusade, and Ocelot Pride. The final push comes from combat pumps like Akroma's Will or the alternate win condition of Halo Fountain, which wins by untapping fifteen tapped creatures. The deck is resilient to board wipes due to its token focus and has a solid protection suite, but it lacks efficient tutors and fast mana, making its game plan somewhat linear and slower.
