New Untitled Deck by Motueka2015

Format: Commander

Commander: Thassa, Deep-Dwelling

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thassa, Deep-Dwelling is a mono-blue value-and-blink deck that treats the commander as a repeatable end-step flicker engine rather than as the main payoff. The primary plan is to resolve Thassa on turn four, chain enter-the-battlefield draw creatures such as Mulldrifter and Sea Gate Oracle through Thassa and flicker instants, and drown opponents in card advantage and counterspells. The actual winning line is Atemsis, All-Seeing: after it deals combat damage, the pilot reveals a hand containing cards with six different mana values and that player loses. Deadeye Navigator serves as a hidden commander, supplying a mana-activated blink engine that can continue even if Thassa is answered. Slow combat with Serpent of Yawning Depths and Sire of Seven Deaths is the backup plan.
