Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact swarm strategy led by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The primary plan develops mana through low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor, deploys the commander alongside token generators such as Sai, Master Thopterist and Caretaker's Talent, and attacks to increment speed counters toward Max Speed. As the battlefield fills with flying Thopters, Servos, and Myr, the deck leverages card draw engines like Skullclamp, Losheel, Clockwork Scholar, and Bident of Thassa to maintain resource velocity. Upon reaching critical mass, it closes games through decisive overrun effects including Akroma's Will, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Urza, Prince of Kroog, converting a wide board of artifact creatures into lethal combat damage. The list supports its aggressive strategy with efficient interaction, one-sided removal via Organic Extinction, and robust board protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Dawn's Truce to survive opposing sweepers.
