Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Aristocrats and life-drain build commanded by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The strategy focuses on producing disposable creature tokens using cards like Ophiomancer, Blight Mound, and Pest Infestation, then sacrificing them to trigger drain effects and power up the board. Once Korvold, Fae-Cursed King enters on Turn 5, every sacrifice fuels immense card draw and accelerates his power. The deck establishes a critical must-answer clock by Turn 6, attacking with an evasive, scaling commander while draining opponents across the table with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Dina, Soul Steeper. Burst spells like Tend the Pests and Plumb the Forbidden convert Korvold's massive power into dozens of life-draining Pest tokens. While the deck boasts outstanding card replenishment and resilient backup threats such as Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and Beledros Witherbloom, it lacks instant-speed stack protection, leaving key setup turns open to well-timed removal.
