Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that converts every entering Dwarf into Treasure and every Treasure into attack power. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Dwarves and Equipment, make a fast hoard of Token artifacts, and kill through a pumped, wide combat step. Secondary paths are Magda's five-Treasure tutor to put Smaug, Goldspan, or Cavern-Hoard Dragon into play, and direct-damage finishers like Dain of the Ancient Halls and Smaug. The commander is not a DFC. Magda acts as a hidden commander in the 99. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by repeated large swings.
