Deck overview

This is a Dimir artifact-combo deck helmed by Golbez, Crystal Collector. The plan floods the board with cheap artifacts, leveraging Golbez's enter-the-battlefield surveil triggers for selection and his end-step recursion/drain once four and eight artifacts are online. Primary wins are infinite-mana loops (notably Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal), extra-turn chains via Time Sieve, and storm/life outlets like Aetherflux Reservoir and Bolas's Citadel, with Walking Ballista and Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge as clean finishers. Supporting engines include Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Urza, Lord High Artificer, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Grinding Station loops. Golbez is a cheap value engine rather than a hard combo piece-the 99 contains the win lines-but his surveil selection pairs especially well with Matoya, Archon Elder and keeps the graveyard stocked for recursion.
