Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Golgari Reanimator strategy focused on rapidly filling the graveyard and cheating devastating creature threats into play turns ahead of curve. The deck leverages hyper-efficient one-mana acceleration and rituals to cast early mill and entomb spells, including Entomb, Buried Alive, Survival of the Fittest, and Old Stickfingers from the command zone. Once game-warping targets like Archon of Cruelty, Titan of Industry, or Kokusho, the Evening Star are in the graveyard, cheap reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Exhume return them to the battlefield as early as Turn 3. The deck closes games by overwhelming the table through massive multi-creature resurrections with Living Death, explosive overrun attacks powered by Pathbreaker Ibex, End-Raze Forerunners, and Concordant Crossroads, or repeated life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim. A dense suite of premium instant-speed removal protects the board state while keeping opposing commanders and combo pieces in check.
