Thorin Dwarf by Master_Aoshi

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal "story" deck that wins through a wide, equipped battlefield backed by a Treasure economy. Thorin Oakenshield is a cheap trampling commander whose Storied keyword rewards controlling three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas; once the "enduring story" is online, every artifact and creature the deck controls gains ward {1}. The 99 is a dense Dwarf package of token-makers, lords, Treasure producers, and Equipment payoffs, including three additional Thorin variants as redundant storied legends. Treasures ramp into explosive turns, fuel Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor Dragon/artifact finishers, and enable the alternate win in Hellkite Tyrant. Most games end with a lorded alpha strike, double strike from Equipment, or repeated burn from Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell rather than an infinite combo.
