Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Golgari creature-storm and big-mana combo deck commanded by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The strategy focuses on establishing an early board of low-cost mana dorks and token generators across the opening turns. Because Witherbloom has affinity for creatures, it reliably enters the battlefield as early as Turn 3 for just {B}{G}. Once on the board, Witherbloom grants affinity for creatures to all instant and sorcery spells. This turns high-impact card draw spells like Stinging Study and Shamanic Revelation into 1-to-2 mana refills, rapidly drawing through the library. The deck then closes the game on Turn 4 with lethal X-spells like Finale of Devastation for X=10 fetching Craterhoof Behemoth, a massive Torment of Hailfire, or an infinite token loop with Sprout Swarm. It backs its explosive gameplan with asymmetric artifact suppression from Null Rod and Collector Ouphe while leveraging Allosaurus Shepherd to force wins through opposing countermagic.
