Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Combo-Control shell built to execute a compact win condition alongside powerful reanimation packages. The primary game plan focuses on assembling Thassa's Oracle and casting Demonic Consultation in response to its enter-the-battlefield trigger, exiling the entire library to win the game immediately on Turn 4. Extensive black tutoring from Demonic Tutor, Wishclaw Talisman, and Solve the Equation, paired with efficient blue cantrips like Ponder and Preordain, ensures consistent access to both pieces. If the primary line is countered, low-cost reanimation spells including Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Unearth quickly return Oracle to the battlefield to re-attempt the win. A secondary plan leverages Entomb and Buried Alive to deploy disruptive threats like Hullbreaker Horror or Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, while a dense suite of 16 counterspells protects the winning turn and disrupts opposing strategies.
