I am the threat by TrancedKaiju

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is a spell-slinger's mana engine and a win condition rolled into one: every noncreature spell grows her power, deals 1 damage to each opponent, and feeds a suite of Wizard/Shaman payoffs that multiply those triggers. The deck is an Izzet storm list that churns through a dense stack of cantrips - Ponder, Preordain, Serum Visions, Opt, Consider, Brainstorm, Gitaxian Probe - while Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Storm-Kiln Artist double both the pings and the mana each spell produces. It wins by chaining 4-8 spells in one turn until Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Vivi's own ping reach 30 life per opponent, or by pivoting to the compact infinite loop of Niv-Mizzet, Parun/Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind plus Curiosity/Ophidian Eye/Tandem Lookout. Grapeshot with Thousand-Year Storm or Underworld Breach provides mass storm finishes, and Laboratory Maniac backstops a draw-out. Notably, none of the deck's registered wins actually require the commander.
