Deck overview

Neriv, Heart of the Storm is an aggressive Mardu deck that doubles all damage dealt by creatures that entered the battlefield this turn. The game plan focuses on casting high-power haste creatures, creating attacking creature tokens, and triggering enter-the-battlefield burn effects. With Neriv on the board, temporary threats and token swarms deal devastating bursts of combat and noncombat damage. The deck closes out games by leveraging myriad engines like Legion Loyalty and Duke Ulder Ravengard, direct enter-the-battlefield damage from Overlord of the Boilerbilges and Fanatic of Mogis, or taking extra combat steps using Full Throttle to burn down all three opponents simultaneously.
