Deck overview

This is a color-word control deck that paints the table one color and punishes it. Painter's Servant, Shifting Sky and Swirl the Mists make all spells and permanents share a chosen color, which turns narrow hate cards into engines: Karma with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth burns each upkeep, Compost and Insight draw cards, and Lifetap and Roots of Life gain life. Aragorn, the Uniter is a value engine that rewards every white, blue, red and green spell with tokens, scry 2, 3 damage or +4/+4, doubled by Annie Joins Up. When the lock is set, Shark Typhoon, Metallurgic Summonings and Rith, the Awakener close the game with large token swarms supported by Mirari's Wake.
