Kami of the Crescent Moon by Hrathrim

Format: Commander

Commander: Kami of the Crescent Moon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue group-hug control deck helmed by Kami of the Crescent Moon. The commander is a two-mana extra-draw engine in the command zone: every player draws an additional card each turn, hands swell, and the list converts that inflation into a clock with hand-size punishers (Iron Maiden, Black Vise, Viseling, Ebony Owl Netsuke, Misers' Cage) and draw-drainers (Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler). A thick counter suite and several bounce wipes hold the table while the pings tick. Backup plans are a "second card" token army (Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Minn, Wily Illusionist, Homunculus Horde, Mischievous Mystic) and a giant Body of Knowledge, plus combat chips from Sword of War and Peace. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by attrition. Kami of the Crescent Moon is cheap to recast and is an engine, not the win condition - the 99 can run the same plan through Howling Mine and Dictate of Kruphix - but the command zone makes the extra-draw lock reliable from turn two.
