Commander: Morophon, the Boundless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Morophon, the Boundless leads a five-color Changeling/Sliver tribal deck whose central trick is to name **Sliver** as the universal creature type on every "choose a creature type" permanent. Because every changeling is every creature type, the entire board shares the chosen type; Thrumming Hivepool's Sliver tokens even join in. Morophon's cost reduction turns otherwise clunky multicolor changelings into a cheap, explosive swarm, while Maskwood Nexus makes the type synergy airtight. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat: flood the board with changelings and copy effects, pump with Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, and Obelisk of Urd, break through with Cover of Darkness and Collective Inferno, and finish with Kindred Charge or Thrumming Hivepool-granted haste. Mana Echoes is the hidden engine that can chain-cast cheap changelings into a massive board and enormous mana, often setting up a lethal Mirror Entity activation.
