Deck overview

This five-color deck leverages Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. to cheat massive double-faced cards directly onto the battlefield in their transformed states. By using universal creature-type changers such as Arcane Adaptation, Conspiracy, Leyline of Transformation, and Maskwood Nexus, every creature in the 99 becomes a Hero. When Nick Fury activates his Power-up ability for all five colors, he digs seven cards deep to drop game-ending transformed permanents like Etali, Primal Sickness, Withengar Unbound, Shinryu, Transcendent Rival, or The Grand Evolution without paying their exorbitant mana or transform costs. Supported by efficient 1-2 CMC ramp, five-color fixing lands, Transmute tutors, and secondary copy engines like Battlemage's Bracers, the deck rapidly transitions from early ramp into overwhelming board dominance, presenting lethal combat pressure as early as Turn 4-5.
