Drains and Gains by Pearfect

Format: Commander

Commander: Folk Hero and Burakos, Party Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Burakos, Party Leader is the engine: he attacks to drain and create Treasures while counting as all four party types. Folk Hero is the second command-zone piece, turning every party-typed creature spell into a card. The deck's primary plan is to assemble a full party, attack with Burakos for Treasures, then convert that mana into a lethal Debt to the Deathless amplified by Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Vizkopa Guildmage. Secondary paths are Treasure-token drain via Mirkwood Bats and Nadier's Nightblade, and combat finishes through Jazal Goldmane, Baldin, and Squad Commander. There is no hidden commander; the Background itself is the draw engine. The deck wins by out-valuing opponents and swinging or draining in one large turn.
