Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya +1/+1 counters engine led by Hamza, Guardian of Arashin. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early counter-bearing creatures like Hardened Scales, Botanical Brawler, and Rishkar, Peema Renegade to drastically reduce the casting cost of Hamza and subsequent creature spells. Once Hamza enters on Turn 4 or 5, the deck transitions into a creature storm engine, chaining heavy threats, drawing through the library with Armorcraft Judge and Inspiring Call, and closing games through overwhelming combat damage or an infinite bounce combo using Ancestral Statue. Combat power is amplified by Sovereign Okinec Ahau and Goldnight Commander, with Duskshell Crawler providing crucial trample evasion and Champion of Lambholt ensuring unblockable attacks. While vulnerable to sweepers and exile removal, the deck packs high redundancy, artifact recursion, and indestructible protection spells to maintain resilience across multiplayer pods.
