Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa leads a mono-black Zombie tribal aristocrats deck that combines explosive token generation, steady board control, and compounding life drain. The deck builds its mana base in the early turns through artifacts and Swamps, setting up value engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Grave Pact. Once Gisa enters the battlefield, she converts high-power creatures into wide swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. These tokens overwhelm opposing blockers with support from lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, while sacrifice outlets such as Phyrexian Altar and Carrion Feeder trigger life drain through Plague Belcher, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and The Meathook Massacre. Sweepers like Toxic Deluge and mass reanimation like Living Death offer powerful resets and late-game recovery. The deck overcomes removal through steady card flow, graveyard recursion, and asymmetric creature suppression.
