Deck overview

This deck is a Bant creature-ramp and overrun strategy helmed by Chulane, Teller of Tales. Its core engine turns every creature spell into card advantage and land acceleration, outpacing traditional midrange decks. Early turns establish mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Poison Dart Frog to cast Chulane, Teller of Tales on Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck rapidly deploys creatures and lands, backed by draw engines like Beast Whisperer and Guardian Project. The deck creates a critical must-answer board state on Turn 6 with high-impact threats like Avenger of Zendikar, Bonny Pall, Clearcutter, and Railway Brawler. It finishes the table on Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage from Craterhoof Behemoth or Akroma's Will. While supported by efficient spot removal and sweepers like Farewell, the deck lacks counterspells and stax pieces, leaving it reliant on combat steps and open to opposing sweepers.
