Ganax Blinks Dragons by jrod789

Format: Commander

Commander: Ganax, Astral Hunter and Candlekeep Sage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet Dragon-tribal blink deck helmed by Ganax, Astral Hunter with Candlekeep Sage as its Background. The core loop is simple and explosive: every Dragon entry or leave creates a Treasure via Ganax, and every commander creature entry or leave draws a card via Candlekeep. The deck uses instant-speed flicker effects-Essence Flux, Displace, Ghostly Flicker, Siren's Ruse, Spaceshift, and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling-to keep re-triggering those engines, generating enough mana to chain-cast bigger Dragons. The primary finish is a Deadeye Navigator + Rapacious Dragon loop that floods the board with Treasures while Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Terror of the Peaks, Warstorm Surge, or Reckless Fireweaver burns every opponent out. If the loop is unavailable, the deck can simply overwhelm the table with Goldspan Dragon, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Molten Echoes copy-token combat.
