Deck overview

This is a Golgari Squirrel-token swarm deck helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, built around the commander's replacement effect that doubles every token created and his {B} sacrifice ability that turns Squirrels into removal. The deck layers token engines (Squirrel Nest, Awakening Zone, Chatterstorm, Deep Forest Hermit) with token doublers (Doubling Season, Tippy-Toe, Terrific Partner, Academy Manufactor) to explode the board, then wins through mass overrun effects (Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, Beastmaster Ascension, Triumph of the Hordes) or by converting the swarm into an infinite engine with Ashnod's Altar plus a drain payoff like Mirkwood Bats or Nadier's Nightblade. It is a classic midrange token deck: slow to develop, but with enormous board-critical mass once the doubling pieces land.
