This deck is a highly synergistic Esper token strategy helmed by Marneus Calgar, who turns every token entering the battlefield into a card-draw engine. The primary game plan is to establish one or more token doublers such as Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, or Bard, King of Dale, then generate a torrent of tokens through cards like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Company Commander, Martial Coup, and Inkshield. Each token ETB draws a card off Marneus (or Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards), quickly refueling the hand. Win conditions include overwhelming combat damage, the life-drain of Mirkwood Bats, Commissar Severina Raine's attack trigger, and the incremental life loss from Kambal, Profiteering Mayor.
