Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-Green Big Mana strategy built around The Notary Hobbits. When the commander enters the battlefield, it creates two nonlegendary token copies of itself. Because each Hobbit taps for colorless mana equal to the number of Halflings you control, having all three in play immediately produces 9 colorless mana upon untapping. The deck accelerates into the commander on Turn 4 using efficient 1-2 CMC ramp spells, then unleashes massive threats on Turn 5. These include entwined Tooth and Nail, Genesis Wave, Apex Devastator, and massive Eldrazi titans like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Defiler. It finishes games through explosive overrun combat with Craterhoof Behemoth or an infinite mana engine via Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Umbral Mantle. The deck protects its combo and combat turns with Allosaurus Shepherd, Destiny Spinner, and Heroic Intervention.
