Deck overview

This Izzet storm deck leverages Goblin token generation to fuel explosive mana rituals and mass card draw spells, culminating in infinite buyback loops. Led by Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea, the commander provides early treasure generation and guaranteed access to a potent instant/sorcery tutor in the command zone. The deck curves out by making Goblin tokens via cards like Dragon Fodder and Kuldotha Rebirth, converts that wide board into massive mana through Battle Hymn and Brightstone Ritual, and refills its hand with Distant Melody or Archmage Emeritus. Once sufficient mana and cards are drawn, it loops Reiterate with buyback on a high-yield ritual for infinite mana, closing the game immediately with buyback burn spells like Searing Touch or Fanning the Flames. While exceptionally fast and decisive when uninterrupted, the strategy is vulnerable to early sweepers and runs minimal defensive countermagic.
