Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Sultai combo-control list built around Maralen, Fae Ascendant as an infinite mana outlet and library exile finisher. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Food Chain paired with either Eternal Scourge or Misthollow Griffin to generate unbounded creature mana. Because Food Chain exiles as a mana ability cost, the loop is resilient to on-board creature removal. Casting and sacrificing Maralen repeatedly exiles the entire library of all three opponents, forcing them to lose on their subsequent draw steps. Backing this compact victory route is an elite card advantage core comprising Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, Rhystic Study, and The One Ring, which consistently refuels the hand and digs for combo components. A suite of zero-mana counterspells and efficient removal spells insulates the combo turn from opposing interaction while disrupting faster opposing lines.
