Deck overview

Led by Sami, Wildcat Captain, this Boros artifact deck leverages wide artifact deployment to grant global affinity to every spell cast. The early game establishes board presence through low-cost mana rocks, artifact lands, and utility tokens like Junk, Clues, and Food. Once Sami enters the battlefield on Turn 5, the commander dramatically reduces the mana barrier for expensive, game-warping artifacts. On Turn 6, the deck transitions into its critical onset by deploying towering beaters such as Darksteel Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, and Thousand Moons Smithy // Barracks of the Thousand's massive Gnome tokens, backed by Sami's double-striking combat pressure. Protection engines like Darksteel Forge and The Walls of Ba Sing Se shield permanents from conventional destruction, while Chimil, the Inner Sun ensures uncounterable plays. The deck finishes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage across multiple response cycles, relying on robust artifact recursion from Daretti, Rocketeer Engineer to outlast opposing removal.
