Deck overview

Kelsien, the Plague is a Mardu equipment-control commander. The deck's primary plan is to make Kelsien a hasty, ever-growing assassin: spot-remove creatures with his tap ability, stack cheap Swords and Hammer of Nazahn on him, and finish with extra combat spells. The hidden commanders are Stonehewer Giant and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, which tutor and attach the equipment stack at the right moment. Secondary paths use Maha to turn Kelsien into a one-shot creature killer, Otharri/Queen Marchesa for token value, and Ad Nauseam as a refuel/emergency draw spell. The deck wins mainly by 21 commander damage in one or two turns, with experience counters and equipment power scaling the kill.
