Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch leads a Jund control and attrition strategy built entirely around negative counters. The deck spreads -1/-1 counters across the battlefield to shrink opposing threats, control board states, and draw cards whenever your own creatures take counters while draining opponents when their creatures are afflicted. Win conditions center on high-synergy engine loops and drain effects. The primary infinite win condition combines Blowfly Infestation with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons or Nest of Scarabs, continuously creating 1/1 tokens and killing them to trigger infinite drain via Auntie Ool, Obelisk Spider, or Grave Venerations. Secondary win lines include burn loops with All Will Be One or stealing opposing armies with Necroskitter.
