Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange strategy led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Villain creatures, attacking to trigger combat connive abilities, and growing a wide, evasive board with menace and flying. Whenever you connive and discard excess land cards, Doctor Doom burns every opponent for 2 life, turning card filtering into direct life-total pressure. Key synergy pieces like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Madame Hydra, and The Squadron Sinister amplify your board presence with +1/+1 counters, token generation, and haste. The deck backs up its creature pressure with an efficient suite of spot removal and asymmetrical sweepers like Kindred Dominance and Toxic Deluge. While it lacks stack interaction and heavy protection spells, its strong kindred density and looting let it rebuild steady pressure across the mid-to-late game.
