Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian is the face of a +1/+1 counter engine. The deck moves counters around at combat, triggers Cheer to draw and proliferate, and turns a single hydra or Sage of Hours into a game-ender. Multipliers like Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Innkeeper's Talent make every counter count. Backup/finishers are Simic Ascendancy's alternate win, Walking Ballista's reach, and a Zimone/Sage extra-turn lock. Yuna, Grand Summoner functions as a hidden commander: mana, two extra counters on the next creature, and crossover recursion when a countered permanent dies. The plan is resilient because each role has redundant pieces, though it is vulnerable to disruption when no haste or protection is available.
