Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an aggressive Zombie tribal and Aristocrats engine led by Gisa, the Hellraiser. Gisa rewards committing crimes—targeting opponents, their permanents, or their graveyards—by generating two 2/2 Zombie Rogues once each turn while providing a static +1/+1 anthem and menace to all Zombies and Skeletons. The deck pairs cheap, repeatable crime enablers like Scrabbling Claws, Withered Wretch, and versatile removal spells with aristocrat sacrifice engines like Warren Soultrader, Phyrexian Altar, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. The primary plan accelerates mana through staples like Cabal Coffers and Dark Ritual to deploy Gisa by Turn 4. From there, continuous crime triggers build an overwhelming menacing board state, transitioning into a lethal attack or aristocrat drain win by Turn 7. Proactive attrition from Grave Pact and The Darkness Crystal suppresses opposing creature boards, while Zombie lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief maintain strong combat pressure.
