Deck overview

This Boros kindred deck harnesses the combat prowess of Dwarves and the economic acceleration of Treasure tokens under Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. By curving out with low-cost Dwarf creatures in the early turns, the deck sets up Thorin's entry on Turn 4 to immediately start generating Treasure tokens. As artifact tokens accumulate, Thorin's static ability scales the entire board's power rapidly, turning modest utility creatures into formidable attackers. The deck backs up its aggressive clock with resilient combat equipment like The Reaver Cleaver and Mithril Coat, while utilizing iconic white and red removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Chaos Warp to clear blockers and eliminate opposing threats. In the mid-to-late game, secondary payoffs like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Dáin of the Ancient Halls, and Balin, Loremaster ensure sustained reach, overwhelming opponents through compounding combat damage.
