Deck overview

This competitive Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a combined mana engine, win condition, and card draw catalyst. The primary strategy pairs Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, Vivi puts a +1/+1 counter on itself and deals 1 damage to each opponent. This triggers the Curiosity effect three times, drawing 3 cards per spell cast. By chaining zero-cost artifacts, rituals, and cantrips, the deck draws its entire library while dealing lethal burn damage to all opponents in a single turn. Fast mana enables Turn 2 commander deployment and Turn 3 combo execution. If Vivi is answered, the deck easily pivots to an Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze loop or an infinite mana line using Quicksilver Elemental. A deep suite of free countermagic and uncounterable protection shields the combo from opposing disruption.
