Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck executes an aggressive tribal-aristocrats strategy optimized around the Eminence ability. By casting efficient low-mana Vampires on the earliest turns, the deck creates a wide board of Vampire tokens from the command zone at zero extra mana cost. On Turns 3 and 4, it leverages these tokens to fuel potent card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden, or transitions into asymmetric attrition using Grave Pact and drain pieces like Blood Artist. Combat buffs from lords such as Cordial Vampire and Captivating Vampire create rapid pressure that closes games around Turn 6. As an alternate win condition, the deck packs an infinite drain combo using Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, easily assembled with black tutors. The deck boasts extraordinary recovery because its primary token generator cannot be removed from the command zone.
