Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Sorin of House Markov, blending dense lifegain synergies, aristocrat attrition, and instant-kill combo finishes. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using premier mana rocks and low-cost creatures such as Soul Warden and Ocelot Pride. These enablers reliably gain the 3 life needed to transform Sorin into Sorin, Ravenous Neonate by Turn 4. Once flipped, Sorin controls the board by generating Food tokens and sniping threats with his loyalty abilities. The deck smoothly transitions into high-impact attrition with Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Kambal, Consul of Allocation before deploying game-ending lines. Its primary victory route is the two-card infinite combo of Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, which drains the entire table in a single turn upon gaining any life. Robust backup lines like Bolas's Citadel with Aetherflux Reservoir and mass token swarms ensure reliable pressure across all matchups.
