Format: Commander

Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund land-sacrifice deck uses Hearthhull, the Worldseed as a draw engine and life-drain enabler. The primary plan is to sacrifice lands to trigger Hearthhull, Titania, Retreat to Hagra, Tannuk, and other landfall payoffs, then return those lands from the graveyard with Ramunap Excavator, Splendid Reclamation, and Ancient Greenwarden. Secondary paths are exponential Scute Swarm tokens and Moraug extra-combat turns. The Gitrog Monster effectively acts as a hidden commander, supplying draw and an extra land drop. The commander's 2+ station mode is the central engine; the 8+ creature mode lets him attack while still using his activated ability.
